Why does the indicator light flash quickly when the GPS tracker is turned on?

After the GPS tracker is turned on, one-minute flash is normal; because the tracker is searching GSM signal. But long-time flash is abnormal. Maybe the SIM card is loose, which cause loose contact; or the PIN is lock; or the direction of the SIM card is incorrect, which cause the tracker is out of GSM service area; or the SIM card is broken; or you use non-GSM web card, etc.

Does it work if we take out the inner battery on GPS tracker but connect the external?

Yes, it does. But the external power must be matched by our company (DC5V/1A). Other companies’ external power may cause no work.

What’s the difference of GPGGA and alarm messages?

There is no alarm information in GPGGA, while alarm messages have one in IMEI.

I couldn’t receive a message when calling the GPS tracker. Why?
|
|
1. Caller ID and message function should be opened if you want to receive messages.
2. Check whether the GPS tracker is authorized to other phone numbers.
3. Messages can not be received if a phone number is unauthorized.
4. Messages can not be received if you set the IP and port. Messages will be sent to GPRS platform.
5. If the GPS tracker is under unpositioning mode, messages cannot be received.

How to turn on the GPS tracker TK201-2? I cannot find the shift knob?

The GPS tracker will start up once ed a battery. If you want to turn it on or turn it off, the GPS tracker needs to be put into a recharge stand; then press the button at the right of the stand for 3 seconds.
